This policy explains what information Kelly Cain Creative (“I”, “me”, “my”) collects when you visit kellycain.com, how I use it, and the choices you have. If you have any questions, email me at hello@kellycain.com.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you send an inquiry through the form on this site, I collect what you enter: your name, business name, email address, the service you are interested in, your budget range and your message.

Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to The Raleigh Local newsletter through the signup form, your name and email address are collected by beehiiv, the platform I use to send the newsletter.

Booking a call. If you book a call, Calendly collects the information you enter on the booking form, such as your name, email address and any notes you add.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site collects basic usage data such as pages visited, referring sites, browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address. This is collected through Jetpack Stats so I can understand how the site is used.

How I use your information

• To reply to your inquiry and send you a proposal or the information you asked for
• To schedule and hold calls you book with me
• To send the newsletter if you subscribed
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve it
• To protect the site from spam and abuse

I do not sell your personal information, and I do not use your inquiry details for anything other than responding to you and working with you.

Services I use

This site relies on a few trusted third-party services. Each one handles your information under its own privacy policy:

• WordPress and Jetpack (Automattic): website platform, contact form and visitor statistics
• Akismet (Automattic): checks form submissions for spam
• beehiiv: newsletter signups and delivery
• Calendly: call scheduling
• Google Fonts: loads the fonts used on this site
• WP Mail SMTP: delivers form notification emails to my inbox
• Cloudways: website hosting

Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep it working, measure traffic and prevent spam. Embedded tools like Calendly and beehiiv may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may not work as expected.

How long I keep information

Inquiry messages are kept in my email and in the website dashboard for as long as needed to respond to you and for my business records. You can ask me to delete them at any time. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing hello@kellycain.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and I will honor those requests.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact me and I will delete it.

This site links to other websites, including The Raleigh Local and social media platforms. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this privacy policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
