Renovating this doll house is one of my favorite miniature projects to date.

For the original doll house I used supplies from Ikea and the dollar store, but you can also source them from your own home, a thrift store, amazon, or whatever makes the most sense for you.
To make it easy for you I’m going to include links to items that are similar found on amazon. These are my affiliate links and I may earn a small commission if you purchase from these links.
The Dollhouse itself is from Ikea, but I also love these options:
Downstairs: Living Room:
Couch: Two magic erasers — yes, thats really it. I also found this couch, and now I think I need to make a new doll house reno.
Lamp: Small Reading Light there are so many styles, so pick the one that goes with the decor you are looking for. For the doll house renovation I used a red reading light and painted it white – so this is always an option if you don’t like the colors available.
Plants: I used wood beads, and clippings off of different artificical plants. (This was my favorite part of the design). These would also be so cute as magnets! Just glue a magnet on the back for as a great gift for plant lovers!
Dresser: I got mine originally from the dollar store, but there are so many cute sets on amazon.
Rug: This was a cutting from a dish towel, but you could use so many things here – extra fabric, tshirt, or whatever you have on hand!
Moving Right (still downstairs):
Shelf: Originally ikea
Plants: As mentioned above, I used wood beads, and clippings off of different artificical plants.
Rug: Also ikea
Upstairs: Dresser, I got from the dollar store, but again, so many sets on amazon to choose from! Hobby Lobby also has a great minatures/doll house section.
Plants: Same as above — I used wood beads, and clippings off of different artificical plants.
Rug: A cutting from the same dishtowel.
Bed: This is a small piece of doll house furniture from the dollar store, I upcycled a baby burb cloth for the bedding.
Chandelier: A cat toy from the dollar store. You could also use this.
Bathroom: Tile painted to look like a mirror but you could also a small craft mirror.
Plants: Same as mentioned above.
Vanity: Originally drom the dollar store, but there are many furniture sets that would work great here.
Sink: Silver part of a candle votive, with the candle removed and faucet was a paper clip that I bent.
Plant hanging on the wall: is held by a small piece of twine that I tied, then hot glued to the plant pot (bead) and then glued to the bathroom wall.
Toilet: a cap from a silk creamer bottle, but use whatever makes the most sense to you!
The rug and towel: are from a small piece of white fabric. You could also use the same dish towel you used as rugs in the other rooms.
I also really want to try my hand at more miniature making like these options:
I hope you enjoyed this post, happy creating!
